Geometry - Vibrations

We also devoted a lot of time discovering the best sounding geometry given that the intimate geometry of a cable greatly influences the final result.
We built various prototypes, timed the burn-in periods and then made many comparative listening tests. The geometry integrated in our cables helps to reduce magnetic distortions and capacitance problems between conductors to a very low level, thus enhancing sonic behavior. In fact none of the polarities is either inside or outside the cable, and this makes it a more 'symmetrical' transmission line than any other conventional cable design, even with 'unbalanced' interconnects.
We also paid special attention to a tight integration of the conductors inside the cable. The reason is simple : when an AC electric signal is applied to any conductor, its starts to vibrate and adds unwanted effects on sound transmission quality. Not all cable manufacturers pay sufficient attention to this particular issue. We certainly did.
Our interconnect cables do not make use of any external shield. This was a conceptual wish from the designers, which was initially guided by intuition, but has been validated after countless listening sessions of shielded and non-shielded cables ... During intensive test phases, no noise or hum could be detected.
