Philosophy

Audio cables are commonly treated as simple accessories. However, their technology and price can vary from simple and cheap to advanced and costly.
Their influence in an audio system is frequently neglected. Our conception of these linking elements is radically different. They must be able to reveal music and sound potential of the whole system, without adding false warmth, harshness, or anything that differs from the original signal, subjectively speaking.
The majority of cable manufacturers have their base products manufactured by other companies that often work in Asia, and are under various profitability schemes with regard to price margins on the raw materials, manufacturing costs, engineers, logistics and shipping fees. Very often the quality of raw materials used to make these products is far from optimal, because of the pressure to reduce costs and there is a clear repercussion on the final performance.
On the other hand, audio cables are usually certified to follow some security standards, electromagnetic compatibility, etc ... but are rarely designed with the most important thing : the transmission of the best possible sound !
